Simply Kingfisher

Been ages since I've seen this guy down the Figgy (nicely showing off that he is a male with the all black bill, the female having a flash of orange underneath).

Odd day. Combination of scrutiny and antipathy that is strangely weird to judge. Relaxed enough though, and getting on with things. Nice wander up to the Royal Mile at lunchtime, though not quite the range of characters for shooting I was hoping for. Still, there are weeks left to seek that out.
