Nature Diary..This year's first Aubrieta flower.

It was a grey morning with misty grey sky and it remained like that all day. But looking at some of the plants in the tall planters I was delighted to see this year's first Aubrieta flower, a beautiful pink, delicately spotted with dots of early morning dew.
The entire day was grey and misty and much colder than it has been recently. I'm glad it's nearly the end of winter and not the start of it.
