Today

After two hours of swimming, Eli's lips almost blue, (it was cooler today and there was a breeze) I finally got Eli out of the water.

And he had an ice cream cookie.



The questions of the day in the car included:

How did God make trees?

Are ticks in trees so the hippos won't eat them?

Where do hippos live?

When are we going to California (to visit Uncle Earl and Aunt Lois)?

Conversations in the car are always the best . . . always have been.
