Taylors Creek

This shot is taken only 5 minutes ride or ten minutes walk from my home in Melbourne. Taylors Creek runs into the Maribyrnong River. Whilst only 40 minutes from the city we have this beautiful Australian bush around us. Old River Gums which offer great homes for all manner of wild life.
The blue stone bridge would have been created by early settlers, in this case squatters. Even more likely is it was built by employees of William Taylor a Scotsman who first settled in this district 1849.
