The photographer being photographed

The last train of the day drifts down Hexden bank towards me in the Wittersham Signal Box where I'm waiting to collect the single line token for the Northiam - Wittersham section. This is No 65 (KESR 22 from yesterday's blip)

Signalmen must appear in thousands of photographs taken from train windows as passengers pass this box. I'm always the subject of people recording the act of exhanging tokens on the fly as a crossing move takes place. This is where a token is given and collected as the train passes the box.

Shame about the big grey block spoling the view, this is the back of a stop board showing the driver where he must stop if the gates ahead are not open to the railway!
