Bilingual sign

Everything should be, and to be fair mostly is bilingual in the area. It is so much part of life in Gwynedd, that it seems really odd to see English only when traveling back to England. This sign at the bottom of our road is a good example. Welsh verbs are sometimes English verbs spelt Welshly with -io on the end. If a learner doesn't know the Welsh verb they can throw in the english verb with -io on the end, and this seems to work! Of course the purists don't like it.
