Last gasp

I thought this was a leaf that had got caught on the throw covering our sofa. It wasn't. I don't know whether it was a butterfly or a moth, but it was very still. And so I took the opportunity to capture its dying beauty.

We then gently took it outside, to the budleia, in the hope that it would revive.

It did not.
