Grasses at Gight

A Mintlaw Walkers day today, with a seven mile wander through the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside from Millbrex to Cairnorrie via Gight, providing the subject for my letter G in the alphabet challenge. Duller skies this morning with a spit of rain but not enough to spoil the walk in any way. We were surrounded by golden fields of winter sown barley like the ones I blipped yesterday, interspersed with pastures where golden Charolais were enjoying the lush grass. It's on days like this I count my blessings, I'm so fortunate to be able to enjoy the countryside in this way.
