My friend Rachel put on another of her Ethel walks today. We met at Hartington duck pond - as you do :) - and had a very enjoyable walk, bagging two Ethels on the return leg. There was a fair bit ascent and I wished I'd remembered to use my inhaler, but I survived.

Back in Hartington we got a coffee/tea in The Village Stores and enjoyed it while sitting outside, although ten minutes earlier tiny hailstones had been showering down!

I decided to go and do a third Ethel a short distance away while I was in the area and managed to find it quite easily, it being a pointy triangle shaped peak, parked up and set off. It was very steep and the sheep stared at me as if I was mad, which I was, but then I reached the trig point and it was done... well 38 out of 95 done actually! The stats are totals of the two walks, both with the group and solo.

7.41 miles
1,425 feet elevation gain
