'The Arts Centre, Melbourne'

Had a bit of a play around in snap seed with this one tonight, today's weather was back to mild and sunny, much like how it has been right through the month of July with hardly a cloud in the sky.

Sad news last night with the passing of Bill Putt, the legendary bass player with The Aussie icons Spectrum and earlier with Ariel. One of my all time favourite Oz rock anthems was 'I'll be gone' and we quite often would head down to our favourite St. Andrews Hotel to watch Spectrum in full flight on a Sunday afternoon. On a couple of occasions when we were there with the kids he would always come over and talk to them in his gentle and caring way. R.I.P Bill, he will be very greatly missed and the world will be a poorer place without him for sure.

On a brighter note, I managed to snag us a couple of tickets to see Leonard Cohen at Rod Laver Arena in November. 8th row seats which I picked up in a pre sale for frontier touring members before they go on sale to the public next week. Really looking forward to seeing him play live. We recently watched a great interview with him that a music buddy of mine sent over to me, what an incredible person he is.
