lifeboatmen

Years of experience and training have led to three Scarborough RNLI crewmen passing out with flying colours. Lee Marton, left, completed an intensive training programme which qualified him as a coxswain on the all-weather lifeboat. Dave Roberts, centre, who enlisted with the RNLI 10 years ago, has qualified as a mechanic on the all-weather lifeboat. Pat Mesruther, an RNLI crewman since 2008, has passed out as a helmsman on the inshore lifeboat.
