Child from the Padaung tribe (Northern Thailand)

In the hills of Northern Thailand are still 6 main tribes living. One of the tribes are the Karen ( or Kariang) Original from Myanmar were the bulk of the tribe still live.
The whole group is divided into white, black and red Karen. The Padaung or "long neck" is a sub-group of the white Karen and live as refugees in some villages in the Chiang Rai communities.
We're told that only the girls born on a monday are allowed to carry the neck ring from an aged of 4.
