Super frustrated this evening as my iPod Touch seems to have transmoglified into and iBrick. Unknown Error Code (6). Stuck in 'recovery' mode. Kind of like a persistent vegetative state for electronics as far as I can tell.

Nothing works. Phoned Apple. Apparently they need to swap it. Unless any happy blippers can fix it for me??
