It's been a day of local walking. First to Tesco for onions as I forgot them yesterday, then after lunch Rhian came round with a load of donations for the charity shop, which went straight in my boot as I'll be at the shop tomorrow.

Rhian had upsetting news yesterday. The lumpectomy results had come back and she needs further surgery, some of the cancer in her breasts still remains... All along she's managed to remain positive and, somehow, she's still hanging onto that positivity.

We went for a walk, which turned into a longer one than Rhian was expecting! On the other hand I was very pleased to find that there was no mud on The Radbourne Round, my favourite local walk.

We're walking again next Wednesday, and I think we're going to Dovedale to do some hills...!
