Crown Vetch

I really had every intention of blipping a frigate today--there are supposed to be 2 of them anchored in Milwaukee, along with a Coast Guard Cutter, only we couldn't find them! It was on the news that they were coming, but I'm thinking they're late arriving! So....back to my wild flower/weed field today. This is crown vetch, & I think the flowers are so pretty--they are not native to the US, & were introduced here for erosion control. It appears to have been a mistake, though, as this plant is now considered to be a significant threat to the native plants! It is present in every state except Alaska & North Dakota.
