Haddo House Country Park

Mrs CBL and I decided to have a change of scene today and drove inland to visit the grounds of Haddo House.  We do so enjoy woodland walks and even though much of the woodland was destroyed by Storm Arwen three years ago it’s a great place to wander around.

There’s been a lot of work done to prepare the ground for a long term programme of planting saplings of native trees which starts next month.  Looking forward to returning in the sunshine of summer when there will be more colour on show.
