Hidden Secrets
The start of the week, Monday mornings, have become paint stripping mornings. The sooner it’s done we can sand, paint, fit out, launch and use before summer. The pace has picked up since additional scraping sessions have been undertaken.
Getting into all the nooks and crannies of the gig has exposed these two items. In the stern a tarnished plate reading;

At the bows a Royal Marines beret badge probably put there by ‘Big Al’ Henderson, a Royal Marine and one of the injured veterans on the build back in 2016.
Elsewhere during the day, a little shopping, a ninety minute dog walk and preparing dinner before spending the evening with Mrs S. Late on an e-mail arrived from the RN Patrons with two electronic tickets to Saturdays rugby match. Bath, top of the table, hosting Harlequins, my team, I cannot wait. Very grateful to Bath Rugby who donate free tickets to the RN Patrons for use by RN Veterans.
