A Life In Pieces
Finished up the last of the shredding this morning - this is box no. 2 of shredded documents. It's a whole lot of paper.
Hopes of a good night's sleep were dashed when I went to bed just before midnight and then lay awake until 6 am. Then an hour of sleep, then an hour of being awake, then another hour of sleep. 2 hours of sleep a night is not really enough.
On the plus side - toast, tea and ginger nuts for breakfast.
And then off to vote for our new mayor. After the last election 3 weeks ago (turnout 43%), there was no clear winner so there's now a play-off between the 2 leading candidates. The polling station was not overrun with an eager electorate, more like over-dripped.
And now to do nothing until starting cooking about 6:30.
Oh and the clocks went forward here - so it's a bit darker in the mornings here again but the evenings should be lighter - that's always good.
