Forvie Nature Reserve

A change of scene this morning as we walked through the heathland area of Forvie Nature Reserve.  The sky was overcast but at 11°C and with just a light breeze it was a very pleasant walk.  Coffees and fat rascals were enjoyed sitting on the rocks down in Hackley Bay.

In the distant background of the picture of the bay are the offshore wind turbines that caused Donald Trump such great upset.  The Scottish Government stood firmly against his protests that the turbines, which are just off the shore from his beloved Trump International Golf Course, were an unsightly distraction.

The courts upheld the government’s planning permission and The Donald was sent homeward to think again.  He eventually paid all the costs of taking the government to court and losing the case and subsequent appeal.  Makes me smile any time he loses a court case.
