A shutout game in Eugene

Day two of The Minor League Roadtrip brings us to Eugene's beautiful PK Park where we witnessed the Eugene Emeralds shutout the Spokane Indians in an exciting 5-0 game. Our Eugene motel, while still modest, feels Five Stars when compared to the Hillsboro motel, where even the shower water reeked of cigarette smoke!

We enjoyed sunshine all day long until moments before the game when dark clouds, thunder, and even a few stray raindrops came into the scene (exaggerated above with my camera's Dramatic Tone filter).

Tomorrow morning we'll explore Eugene, a city that for some reason has giant letter "Os" everywhere. After that, back on the road as we drive off to Game Three.
