Nature Diary..The morning after...

A rather grim sight this morning challenged the peaceful picture of yesterday evening's blip. 
With icy winds and a light splattering of rain on the windows the promise of a calm, sunny day (as predicted by the tv weather forecasters this morning) must be relevant to some place far away from the south coast of England.
