Almond blossom

Willunga, in South Australia, used to be the almond capital of the world. Although the orchards are now sadly diminished (all ripped out in favour of vineyards) there is still an almond blossom festival every year, and there are still many almond trees looking impossibly beautiful.

A lovely late winter's day today, blue skies, sun with just a hint of a bite, and the Farmers' Market. Heaven on earth! It really was.
