My Great Success Story

Lesotho

Lesotho… a landlocked country with the highest lowest point in the world!

We took a trip from the backpackers, taking a hairy trip through the mountains to the icy border crossing. After that we descended down to a small village where we began out trek. We walked through the village, stopping for homemade beer (signalled by flags on the houses) and then up into the hills which had plenty of snow on their north south side.

We stopped by some prehistoric bushman cave paintings, just out in the middle of the hills, completely open to the elements.

Back in the village, we visited the local healer who was a really nice little woman.

Back in south Africa, we drove past a town/city, stopping at the shop. As the sun was going we drove past an huge, amazingly picturesque lake.
