Simple Pleasures

It's almost impossible to break the Paprika or Salt flavoured oligopoly* in crisp flavours here.  So desperate measures taken to acquire these.  Yes it's not much but it's enough to deflect from a still painful toe (the colour is now more red than angry purple.)

Not up to going out today - getting a shoe on is a world of pain.  So home, crosswords and reading news.

Sad to read about the death of Amadou Bagayoko.  Been listening to their music for abut 20 years,  There's an outside chance you might have heard this. Bamako is the capital of Mali where the couple first met at a blind school.

Shouldn't be a surprise that this was interesting to me.  Always curious.

*there are some other "flavours" but they aren't really flavours at all.
