Floral Delights

Today we perused a food and drinks market where Stroopwaffels were purchased.  Then we moved on to an extensive flower market held in the grounds of a church.  It was so colourful and a delight to see.

We then headed over to a café overlooking the canal and had lunch and beers while soaking up the sun and watching the boats pass by.  It was very entertaining.

In the afternoon we went on a walking tour with quiz questions based on the sites we visited.  It was great fun and the town’s library had a most interesting history.

A most enjoyable meal in the evening rounded off a very enjoyable day.
