Cherry blossom & blue sky…

I’ve been watching this tree each week on my walk home from Pilates. And now the buds have opened and the blossom is beautiful.

I was walking home after a lovely lunch with Sam. Lots to update her with and lots to talk over yet again. We both knew and loved Iris very much and yet we knew her in very different contexts. Myself as a friend of only five years. Sam as a member of a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins and even third cousins over many more years. Yet still Iris. Deep thoughts there!
