That's (camping) life ...

A night without rain means a dry tent - as far as we're concerned this morning. We said goodbye to people we met in the last two weeks and left for Pont-d'Ain, about 350km further to the north.

We arrived against the end of the afternoon and could pitch on a place with sun and shadow during the day. There was beautiful light of the late afternoon sun on the trees. In the immediate environment I saw this lovely tableau of a French family preparing and waiting respectively for evening dinner, lit up by the last sun rays.

Weather report: we travelled through different weather circumstances in the Alpes de Haute Provence (full sun) and the pre-Alpes (mist around their slopes and tops) in temperatures varying from 28°-14°C (and visa versa).

Thank you for visiting my yesterday's journal and your comments. Very much appreciated!
