Old Stomping Ground

I went for a haircut today at lunchtime to my favourite barbers. As that didn't take long, I decided to walk down the Dalry Road.

Up until almost exactly a year ago, I lived around these parts. The whole area is a bit underrated in my opinion. I always found it eclectic, multicultural and a bit "spiky". There was always something on. The Dalry Road itself seems to have every type of restaurant and take away you could imagine. There is Mongolian, Japanese, Italian, Indian, Turkish and today I noticed a Vietnamese offering had opened up in one vacant units on the southern flank of the street.

It was a great area to live in and I miss it a bit.
