Small tortoiseshell

A hard choice today, I also had bees, moths, stones, a flower and a windmill that I was happy with. It came down to this or a bee but as I blipped a bee the other day..
Today we went to St Andrews to do parkrun and both ran our fastest parkrun times ever (by 45 & 49secs).
After tea and cakes we headed to Kingsbarns and a walk along the shore where we found a patch of flowers with about 20 small tortoiseshells, a few small whites and a red admiral, plus the bees and moths - what a photo opportunity.
Then a picnic lunch and a visit to St Monans, but Pitenweem and Anstruther were too crowded due to special events so we just passed through on our way home.
We still got our fish suppers, though!
