And The Bride Wore Hiking Boots

The title has nothing to do with the Blip but it relates to something that we saw later in the day.

Today we went walking in Das Tal Der Murmeltiere (the valley of the marmots) and it was great. Ok there were also cows and birds and weird, lycra-clad cyclists, but I liked the Murmeltiere (pronounce that "moor-mool-tier-e" and you'll be close) the best.

These two are young, Murmeltierchen in German, and were super. Ignored me and got on with playing and having fun.

It was difficult not to have fun. Sunshine, beautiful skies and a wonderful landscape.

We decided to take the cable car up to Diavololezza for a look at the world from 3000 metres.

And we found ourselves in the middle of a wedding.

The bride was wearing a beautiful white gown. And hiking boots. Like you do.
