Escape from Lochinver

Today we departed Lochinver. This picture is one way out, but we elected to take the blacktop 660 miles south rather than brave the Atlantic in one of these rust buckets.

The Marigold is a very rusty looking trawler that has sat at the quay all week with its generators running (the others have all been busy in and out earning a crust). I believe that the 1991 Marigold might be up for sale if you have £1.5m and a passion for doing up old tubs. Almost as expensive as running a V8 Jeep!!!
