Out for a walk locally first thing, but I'd left it a bit late (10am) and it soon got quite hot, but this weather's going to finish soon and I wanted to make the most of the mud free countryside. 

There's been a bit of confusion about what club members are going to do at the weekend because Sunday doesn't look great for climbing. The Ramblers walk is full, I won't want to go to a wall as I'm bouldering on Monday, Adrian and Rich are scrambling on Saturday and Pete and the same Rich are walking on Sunday... what to do?

I've opted for the scrambling, grade 2 eek, up Wildboar Clough. There are two downsides, one that it's a long drive and two that the meeting time is 9am, meaning I'll have to leave home at 7.20am. I've told them not to wait if I'm not there, I'll be asleep! 

All change, I'm definitely going as I'm being picked up from Fi's house now.
