Storytelling

Spent the day dressed in Viking era clothes and entertaining guests. I was shadowing the two guides in the picture … the guys not in waterproofs… to get to grips with the Viking experience events I’ve got involved with.

Despite the cold and biting wind the guests had a ball, lighting fires, making Viking biscuits and butter, trying some local fish and cheese . We finished off by throwing axes (very small ones) back at the Saga centre.

Some great stories of Viking warriors, Valkyrie and cursed banners were told, all very entertaining. Looking forward to being part of this group.

Was very, very glad of my thick wooden cloak!!!
