Beautiful warm sunny morning, cloudy around lunchtime and afternoon whilst we waited for much needed rain - wind direction now southwesterly. Spots of rain at dusk …

Noticed a touch of pink yesterday when I was moving pots around, buds of Pleione - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3098373814778595819 - which I’ve had in the garden for many years, surviving on neglect :-)

Photo on the left has a container grown eating apple, “Sunset Red” and nearby in a very large blue ceramic pot is a miniature crab apple which is covered in flowers and hopefully pollinates the apple trees nearby. Lots of other plants in pots nearby.
