Resetting

Today we’ve spent time getting back into our usual routine of things. This also included taking things easy as it seems hosting is a tiring activity.

This afternoon I potted up cucumber plants and some of my flower seedlings including cosmos and sunflowers. My little grow house is now bursting at the seams so I’m trying to harden off some of the vegetables (like beetroot) so they can be outside.

This afternoon as we walked in the field we encountered what must be an Easter egg hunt as there were numerous decorated paper eggs tangling from trees and hedgerows. Fortunately Merlin was more interested in an old ball he had found in the grass.

I’m planning a bath and an early night but I suspect Andy will stay up late watching The Masters golf.
