The Trojan Unicorn Destiny (They/Them)

About the work- “This is Destiny, a Trojan unicorn created for Perth Museum’s opening exhibition. Destiny is a safe space, a sanctuary, offering refuge for the LGBTQ+ community many of whom cannot live life as their authentic selves due to the very real fear of persecution, violence and discrimination. Those inside the Trojan come in peace and love.”
I am indebted to the label for such a fulsome explanation otherwise I would have been mystified by this sculpture.
 
I planned to write about our great day in Perth visiting the new art gallery, the refurbished museum, and tea with an old friend. However, I returned home to find a scam company had used my credit card.
 
So, this evening has been spent attempting to contact the fraud squad and navigating numerous procedures, only to be informed of a waiting time of 140 minutes. After nearly an hour on the line it suddenly went dead at which point I gave up.
Tomorrow is another day.
Two payments each of £49 have been taken using my credit card by a company in Cyprus. Trustpilot says they are a scam, and others have experienced similar issues.
