Looking for Antony Gormley

We set off this morning to find Gormley's installation '6 times', which comprises sculptures of six human figures, each positioned at various points along a few kilometres of the Water of Leith.

Unbeknown to us, four of the figures are now in storage after it proved impossible to keep them upright in the current of the river. Did nobody at the National Galleries of Scotland think to do a feasibility study before spending nearly half a million quid of our money?

So after the seeing the first (and probably least interesting) statue, and failing to spot any of the others, we gave up before we got as far as Leith docks.

Perhaps we should have stayed at home and watched the video (is that commentator's voice for real?).

Silver lining: we had a pleasant walk, which took us through the Dean Village. This is Well Court, showing that it doesn't matter whether you live in a fancy house of historical significance, the washing still needs done.
