Smiling At Disobedient Oranges

Today for some reason I decided it would be a good idea to attempt another still life. I wanted something colourful so I went with a red background, a crimson glass vase, some oranges and the vibrant netting they came in - as you do! 
To get a better viewpoint I stood on a kitchen chair and thought it would just be a simple case of arranging the said items and clicking the shutter. Unfortunately the oranges had other ideas and proved to be very uncooperative as they kept rolling or moving slightly at inopportune moments - it was beginning to feel like herding cats, or maybe there was just a fruit agitating poltergeist in the kitchen!
Finally I got the disobedient citrus fruits settled and thought they were perfectly positioned when the one on the left hand side of the iimage rolled away at the last second and I couldn't help smiling, so just decided to capture this scene as it was! :-)
