A Bit of Blue

It is still early, but the scilla have begun to sprout and the lawn is dotted with tiny bits of blue. In a few days though, there will be many more in  full bloom like these! 

Big Day! I cast my vote! 

The Canadian election is not until April 28, but they are offering early voting every day until the 22nd. This is a crucial election and I expect there will be a huge turnout. I sure hope we make the right decision as to who can best lead our country through the next few chaotic years...

Meanwhile, I never cease to be amazed and appalled at news from south of the border..Every day, there is something new and shocking to start my day that makes me want to shout at the TV!  What I would like to shout at the TV is not what I should  shout at the TV. Name calling or obscenities are not an option. I have a cat who is not able to cover her ears and there are just some nasty things that a cat should never have to hear. So I am limited to the following responses, any one of which would be appropriate for a feline audience... 

a. Say what?
b, Really?
c, No way!  
d. You must be kidding! 
e. How can you get away with that?

Anything beyond that would be too distressing for Maggie.

Best to just shut off the TV....
