Anniversary Blip
We’ve celebrated our 48th Wedding Anniversary today with breakfast at Bill’s Restaurant in the Village (coincidentally we did the same last year at the Cardiff branch of the same chain) and a walk along the Somerset coast at Kilve, where I took this view looking towards Minehead and the Exmoor hills in the distance.
The patterns on the beach were formed during the Jurassic period, by the mixture of limestone and shale rocks and seemed to fit the bill for today’s Wide Wednesday challenge.
We had scones and flapjack sitting in a nearby tea garden as a late lunch then called in briefly at Kate’s in the hope of seeing the latest member of the family, Charlie, but he was fast asleep. Sophie has wanted a pet for a while now and has finally convinced her Mum and Dad that she will be able to look after a hamster. All we got was a glimpse of his nose so he will have to wait to make his blip debut.
Our Anniversary seems to have coincided with my latest blip milestone.
