Vegan lemon and poppy seed cake

Worked from home today.  Put together the mix for this cake before work. The recipe worked very well for the cake sale so I've made it again for book group tomorrow. It was also a chance to use up some of the soy milk left over from C's visit.  I had to nip downstairs to take it out of the oven once the working day had begun.  
Had a very quick walk to the local shops at lunchtime to take some glass for recycling.  Popped into the charity shop for a quick look. Found a small ball of Rowan cotton yarn the same as I've been using for my crochet succulents. As I was waiting to pay,  I realised that a mum and 2 children who had picked up loads of things had simply walked out of the shop without paying.  Who shoplifts from a charity shop? 
Haircuts after work for 3 of us. T was having a drink with colleagues and will be sorted out tomorrow.  
Iced the cake after work so that it will be set for tomorrow evening.  I also made some more little plant pots from a discarded newspaper. I need to finish the bookgroup book tonight.  
No work now until Tuesday. Looking forward to a few day's off.
