'Elf and safety'

Another solo weekend but this time I had planned it better so had stuff to do.

Em popped up from Nottingham for the day and helped me while away the hours with my teething (and bruised - God her cheek looks horrific!) princess.

Audrey is a big fan of Emma and lights up when she's around. And Em makes all her old boring toys seem new compared to her jaded (and frankly shattered) Mum!

When Audrey was napping for two hours Em and I chatted an had a lovely lunch of mussels followed by lounging on the sofa eating cake and reading papers. Perfect Sunday behaviour!

Popped out to the newly opened Laundrette bar at the end of our street this afternoon (love it in there) and Audrey did her own health and safety checks outside. Her conclusion was it still needs a bit of work - not much space for prams and the concrete floor was uneven and a bit mucky. Her report is in the post to them!
