Spotted in a window whilst returning from our morning jaunt in an icy wind with flurries of liquid icy water added.
A small orchard under the tall walls of the castle was blossoming well. (extra.)
A hearty breakfast including a doggy hamper for Dippy, he enjoyed the venison and duck treats plus a sausage or two.
The bridge over the river Severn was closed due to high winds and heavy traffic, an hour later we managed to retrace and use the old bridge. With heavy traffic still about, I decided to come back across Exmoor. Stunning views, a short visit to Dunster castle and Watermill. Dippy spent a good hour playing in the ford with a family of children and the many dogs which were passing.
A short stop at the Exmoor White House in the evening sunshine with a camomile tea rounded off an enjoyable day.
