We hadn’t expected the unexpected

Well - that was a day and a half!
We took Will to nursery first thing, then took Bek and Theo into town for a coffee - it’s good to e able to get. Keep out of the house for a little while while she can’t drive. Then home and helped her to catch up on lots of jobs.
We left her at about 2.30 and set off for home. We were on the A21 - a mega busy road - when our car lost all power. It was so scary having to be out of the car waiting for the AA when there is no hard shoulder and people drive along like maniacs! Thankfully the AA turned up within about 20 minutes and towed us to a lay-by about a mile up the road, then fitted the big towing plate and towed us to Winchester. Then waited there for the next man - they can only drive to the edge of their area - finally got home at about 10.30. The cam belt had broken.
