Thursday...

No visible aurora here last night as it was pretty cloudy. I thought about going out on the off chance the clouds would clear, but decided to have a glass of wine instead!

It's been another lovely calm day by the coast with plenty of sunshine. I went to the Hauxley wildlife reserve but only went half way round as it was very quiet bird-wise. I never seem to see much there, but if I'm here, I always think I need to go once at least. This aft I had my beach fix - I'll miss these daily beach walks next week when I am back home.

Extras are from by the feeders at the reserve - tree sparrow, goldfinch in blackthorn & a male bullfinch. The blackthorn is even further behind here than it is at home.

Main blip is the beautiful blue sea & a little white boat a long way away.
