In Glen Feshie - the largest of the Uath Lochans in Glen Feshie. The lochans are 'kettle holes' formed by the melting of blocks of ice deposited by retreating glaciers. When the ice blocks melted the depressions. filled with water to become the lochans.
The deciduous trees - birches and larches around the lichans were starting to show fresh green leaves - beneath wood anemones, wood sorrel and the first violets were coming into flower.
