Phew!
A busy day so I'm ready for an early night.
I popped round to the rectory this morning to chat with the kitchen fitter. I'm so impressed with his work and problem solving. Nothing is a problem he just works round it and fixes it so it doesn't happen next time.
I went down to the Home Store closing down sale and bought five metal curtain poles and 3 sets of good quality lined curtains all for well under £200. It's all going to look great. I realise I may have boobed with the sizes though and bought too wide. Having said that, if that is the case(they are non returnable), the two smaller windows could have one curtain each draped across using the tie back. It could look very elegant. I'll see how I get on when it's time to fit the rails and hang the curtains. At the price though, it may be worth just having them altered.
I wrote my monthly update for the magazine, it seems like only days since It wrote the last one! The collage shows the colour of the kitchen a little better, the flooring is the old one, that will be replaced when everything is fitted.
This evening we had our Maundy Thursday service at which I was serving, so assisting with the foot washing section. After the service we stripped the altar and cleared everything away ready for Good Friday tomorrow.
