JUST PASSING THROUGH

I decided to have a lazy day today apart from a walk to a friend who lives a few streets away to deliver a sympathy card as she lost her Mum a few days ago. I was therefore very pleased when my blip literally turned up at my back door. I found this green-veined white butterfly resting on the doorstep when I went out to put something on the washing line. I don't know why it was there - the back door opens out onto a sunless wind tunnel along the side of the house while the more sheltered garden with flowers is only a few steps away - but I was very grateful for its appearance.
