My mom introduced me to a new phrase today: bummer summer. This has definitely been a bummer summer, thanks to... global warming? I stupidly brought summer clothes -- shorts, tank tops, flip-flops -- here and realized my foolishness when I felt the chilly wind as soon as I left the airport. As a result, I bought a couple of jackets and pants at Old Navy and thrift stores.

The temperature has drastically dropped over the last few days, compelling me to buy a few more articles of warm clothing.

The East Bay is much better in terms of weather. It's a lot warmer and not as windy over there. Oakland, here I come!
