South Lakes

I arrived at Ks in Scorton at 830. I hadn’t appreciated that K doesn’t do the main Lake District as it’s too busy. So this is the SW corner with White Coombe on the left and Black Coombe on the right. We climbed up to the ridge between them and looked at across at the Lake District Peaks from a different perspective. We could see the rain heading in on time so we headed back down. K had promised a cafe at Silecroft on the beach, but it was shut. We went to another one at Broughton on Furness which was a lovely little place.
